Pink Mermaid Jug
This hand-built jug has a strong feminine energy, with its soft belly and the long elegant body almost like a mermaid's tail its fish scale motif. The decoration was carved when the clay was still soft. After the first firing the motif was inlaid with the zinc and chrome oxide containg glaze and then the whole piece was covered with a titanium and rutile oxide containing crater glaze, it was fired to 1280 °C.
